Yummy& Tart Lemon Bars!

This weekend we are going to make some awesome lemon bars using our CannaButter!  – If you haven’t made any of that yet check it out by clicking on the CannaButter link!

Our Ingredient List:

  • 1 Cup of CannaButter (Softened)
  • 2 Cups White Sugar
  • 2 & 1/2 Cups White Flour
  • 5 Lemons (Juiced)
  • 4 eggs

Our Recipe will be as follows:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 Degrees C)
  2. In a medium bowl, blend together CannaButter, 2 cups flower, and 1/2 cup sugar.  Press into the bottom of an non-greased 9×13 inch pan.  Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 & 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup flour.  Whisk in the eggs and lemon juice.  Pour over the baked crust.
  4. Bake for an additional 20 minutes in the preheated oven. The bars will firm up as they cool.

So we did it!  This morning while making breakfast.  The step to cook the crumb base in step 2 took a little longer – more like 30 minutes, I think because we used a porcelain dish instead of metal pan.
Super easy, total of about 1.5 hours between start to clean up and taste! These got me at an {8} right now, for all your r/trees ents, we used some SourCookies for our Marijuana Butter.  Very tasty, love the tart lemon flavor.
